Where is Furniture Village head office?
Peter Harrison is founder and chief executive of Furniture Village, which has its group office in Slough. He was born in Derbyshire in 1946 and, with his father in the airforce, he travelled around the world during his childhood, going to boarding school at the age of 12 and being “very self-sufficient early on”.
Who owns oak furniture?
Oak Furnitureland has been acquired by a global investment management firm for an undisclosed sum as part of a deal to secure the retailer’s future. Davidson Kempner Capital Management bought out the furniture retailer via a re-pack administration deal following a sale process undertaken by Deloitte.

Does Nathan furniture still exist?
Cabinet manufacturer and teak specialist Nathan Furniture has moved its furniture production to a factory in Indonesia. Nathan has been working with Danwood in Semarang since 2008, but has now moved all manufacturing to the facility, and has its own dedicated unit there.
